The story so far...

The seed for this venture was sowed when I visited Kathmandu (the city, not the store) for the first time in late 2012. The array of outdoor clothing & equipment available in this city is overwhelming; and the best thing is that most of the clothing is made in Nepal.

I bought a pair of hiking trousers and they stood up the demands of regular use while trekking (I spent 50 days out on the trails). So after returning from my second trek I tracked down the supplier of these quality trousers and arranged for him to manufacture some clothing for me. It was a real adventure doing business in Kathmandu and navigating the crazy streets on my rental motorbike. 

If you haven't been trekking in Nepal it is an amazing experience. On my second trek my friend and I arranged for Karma Lama from Our Insight Trekking to guide us, he is a friend of my sisters from years ago. We soon became good friends too and I could not reccommend him highly enough. He started a trekking company while I was in Nepal and I helped him set up this his website www.insighttreknepal.com.
